The House Foreign Affairs Committee has unanimously passed a resolution calling for the prosecution of armed Turkish government security men who savagely beat, choked and kicked peaceful U.S. protesters in Washington, D.C., in anunprovoked assault earlier this month.

House Resolution 354, passed Thursday, condemned the brutal attack during the May 16 protest and demanded that diplomatic immunity held by members of the security detail be rescinded so they can be prosecuted.

The resolution is a directive to Turkey that we will not allow any foreign government to stifle the rights of our citizens, committee chair Ed Royce (R-Calif.) said after passage of the resolution.

The day Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan had a warm visit with Donald Trump in the White House, about 20 beefy security men in suits raced into a small crowd of protesters outside the Turkish ambassadors residence on Washingtons Embassy Row and viciously punched and repeatedly kicked several protesters, injuring at least 11, some of them seriously, as D.C.police struggled to fend off the attackers.

Erdogan sat in a black sedan in a driveway when the assaults clearly captured on video were unleashed. Video of his car show him speaking to an aide, who then talks to a second man who moves quickly toward the protesters as the attackers race into the crowd.

Trump, who has a twin-building Trump Towers in Istanbul and often praises Erdogan, hasnt said a word about the attacks. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson has said the State Department is dismayed by what occurredbut will not take any action concerning the attacks until after an investigation is completed.

Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) has said that American officials should throw their ambassador the hell out of the United States of America.

The Turkish governmenthas complained about the violence directed at its men, a scenario not supported by a number of videos of the event. Police used billy clubs to get the guards off protesters they were assaulting. Because police were overwhelmed by the attackers, only two armed Turkish security officers attached to a security detail were detained at the scene for physically assaulting federal agents, according to the committee resolution. They were released because they held derived head of state immunity due to their position in Erdogans security detail and flew back to Turkey. The State Department did not demand that their immunity be waived for prosecution in the attack, according to the resolution.

The police, the U.S. Secret Service and the State Department are continuing to investigate.

San Bernardino terror attack: Police describe gun battle with terrorist couplehttp://car-trucks-auto.advices4all.eu/san-bernardino-terror-attack-police-describe-gun-battle-with-terrorist-couple/ Fri, 26 May 2017 08:58:29 +0000 http://car-trucks-auto.advices4all.eu/?p=2325

The husband and wife terrorists in San Bernardino were shot by police more than 40 times combined after their 2015 shooting rampage, according to a new report issued by the county's district attorney's office on Thursday.

The 55-page report detailed accounts of nearly two dozen law enforcement officers who were able to take down Syed Rizwan Farook and his wife Tashfeen Malik. The report explains how police located the attackers and the evidence collected after they were killed.

Police identifed Farook after interviewing a co-worker who said the masked man that entered the Inland Regional Center had his same stature and body shape. Officers learned that Farook had rented a black SUV, which matched the description as the assailants car, according to the report.

Officers pursuing the couple in their getaway SUV were shot at while attempting to pull them over. Farook eventually stopped the car on a residential street, police said. Farook exited the vehicle and fired at police with a Smith & Wesson M&P15 semi-automatic rifle.

One San Bernardino officer recalled shooting Farook five or six times during the firefight. "One of the rounds passed through Farook causing a mist of blood on impact," the report said. "Farook fell to the ground but was still moving." Farook was still clutching his rifle when he was shot two more times.

As Farook lay dying, his wife was ducked behind a backseat in the SUV. Officers said it seemed like she had been blindly firing towards the officers rather than taking aim. She was dressed in all black, carrying an AR-15 semi-automatic rifle and was wearing a load-bearing vest with several spare rifle and pistol magazines, along with an airsoft neck protector and black safety glasses.

Autopsies found that Farook was shot 27 times and Malik was shot at least 15 times.

In total, the couple fired about 80 rounds from rifles and one bullet from a handgun. Officers fired 440 rounds from rifles, shotguns and handguns. Several nearby homes and cars were struck by bullets, but no civilians were hit during the shootout.

Police scouring the SUV found a black backpack with 14 rifle and pistol magazines, a military-style ammunition container with 870 rifle cartridges that were loaded into 10-round clips, along with three rifle sighting systems and several bags filled with hundreds of ammunition cartridges.

According to the Riverside Press-Enterprise, the attorneys office said the officers killing of the terrorists was justified. District Attorney Mike Ramos called the officers actions courageous.

I call them heroes, Ramos said. You talk about being brave Ill tell you, I couldnt do it.

The Associated Press contributed to this report.

Couple travels 14 miles with passed out man on their trunkhttp://car-trucks-auto.advices4all.eu/couple-travels-14-miles-with-passed-out-man-on-their-trunk/ Fri, 26 May 2017 04:28:49 +0000 http://car-trucks-auto.advices4all.eu/?p=2322

A Tennessee couple got the surprise of their life when a police car pulled them over on a Memphis highway.

They hadnt been speeding, or even driving erratically, and at first they couldnt believe what the officer told them.

Mister, are you aware that theres a body on your trunk?

The couple apparently traveled 14 miles with a man who was passed out on their trunk.

The driver, Carl Webb, told Fox 13 that he and his wife had left the Barbecue Fest in downtown Memphis last Thursday night and got into their Ford Taurus, which was backed up against a wall and had a sunshade on the rear window that was stuck closed, making it difficult to see out the back.

Incredibly, the unconscious, unidentified man stayed perched on the 14-inch wide trunk lid at speeds of up to 65 mph without fallling off. Webb credits the tiny lip spoiler on the edge of the trunk for holding the intoxicated passenger in place.

When he was finally roused, the man nearly stumbled into traffic before the officer grabbed him.

"I hope he takes a good look at where he put himself and the hazard that he had open up to himself. It would've been death," Webb said.

‘Clerks’ actress Lisa Spoonauer dead at 44http://car-trucks-auto.advices4all.eu/clerks-actress-lisa-spoonauer-dead-at-44/ Thu, 25 May 2017 21:59:56 +0000 http://car-trucks-auto.advices4all.eu/?p=2316

Lisa Spoonauer, the actress who played Caitlin Bree in the cult-classic film Clerks, died on Saturday at the age of 44.

Her family announced her passing in an obituary posted on the website of a New Jersey Funeral Home. They did not specify her cause of death.

Director Kevin Smith shared the news on Instagram late Tuesday. He recalled discovering Spoonauer in 1992 when he went to watch an acting class at the Brookdale Community College in search of the right actress to play Caitlin Bree.

Lisa was easily the most natural and authentic voice in the room. She didn't sound like she was acting at all; she delivered scripted dialogue as if she was inventing her conversation in the moment, like people do in real life, Smith recalled in his Instagram post.

Devastated to report that #LisaSpoonauer, who played Caitlin in #clerks, has passed away. In 1992, I went looking for Lisa without knowing either who she was or the integral role she'd play in my life. I'd held a night of open auditions at the #firstavenueplayhouse (where we found @briancohalloran and @marilynghigliotti) but the perfect Caitlin Bree never walked through the door. So I popped into an acting class at Brookdale Community College and watched the students from the back. Lisa was easily the most natural and authentic voice in the room. She didn't sound like she was acting at all; she delivered scripted dialogue as if she was inventing her conversation in the moment, like people do in real life. Captivated, I approached Lisa cold in the parking lot after the class and said "This is gonna sound creepy but... Do you wanna be in a movie?" Fearlessly, she replied "Not if it's porn." I told her a bit about Clerks and gave her a copy of the script and my phone number. She called me a few days later and said "Well it's not porn, but everybody talks like it is. It's funny. I'll do it." A complete stranger at first, Lisa quickly became one of the most important people I'd ever meet when she joined Brian, #JeffAnderson, Marilyn, @jaymewes, @samosier, @davidkleinasc and me as one of the chief architects of my first film. We rehearsed for a month straight in the store after hours, where Lisa perfected Caitlin (and fell in love with Jeff). The first night of the shoot, Lisa had to maneuver her way through a seven minute scene with Brian in the video store, when Caitlin finally shows up in the movie. Lisa and Brian CRUSHED it in one long take that still remains one of my favorite scenes I've ever shot - not because it shows off any directorial flare (it doesn't) but because it exemplified how great the performers were since we never had to cut away from their 2-shot. But as strong an actress as she was, Lisa was an even more excellent Mother to her daughter Mia. Whenever we'd Facebook later in life, she'd gush about her baby girl proudly. My heart goes out to Tom, Mia and Lisa's family. Thank you for dreaming my dream with me. You changed my life, Lisa.

Spoonauer played the girlfriend of Cohallorans character, Dante Hicks.

Smith lauded her acting chops in his post. The New Jersey natives only major film role was in Clerks.
